Not sure what other MAC players are there this year, but Chris Evans had 13 points, 8 rebounds, & 0 turnovers in 26 minutes off the bench last night in the opener as his team won 90-89.

DJ Cooper is playing. Didn't fair as well as Evans though. He ended with 3 points 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 26 minutes. His team lost 91-67 (while shooting 24-74 from the field OUCH)

Interesting to see he's on the same team as the other MVP of the Reese's College All-Star Game game last week in Will Clyburn of Iowa St.

Evans is playing for Portsmouth Partnership (Roster)
Cooper is playing for Norfolk Sports Club (Roster).

They look like the only two playing. Wonder why Zeke isn't participating.

I see he also had 3 TO. But he gets another chance pretty quickly. I see his team plays again this afternoon at 3:15.

Cooper has been that kind of player his whole career. I'd expect him to shine in his next game. He usually bounces back with big games after sub-par outings.

i'd agree. Especially when his team is behind and he tries to force things.

Looks like Cooper is finished. His team lost a loser's bracket game this afternoon to the team Evan's team beat last night. He had 10 points on 3/11 shooting with 5 boards, 8 assists, 4 turnovers in 29 min. They lost 90-80 as the team shot 31/90 from the field. That's a boatload of shots!

So once again he proved he is a better rebounder than Marshall who had 0.

They have one more game Saturday at noon. It looks like Evans team plays in semi-final #1 at 7 PM.

That's good. So an 8-"team" (term used loosely) tourney in which everyone gets 3 games. Not a double elimination tourney, but one with consolation games after a team loses.

Evans had 16 points and 6 rebounds in a semi-final loss. He'll play again tonight.

Cooper played his final game this afternoon and broke out with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and no turnovers as his team won the 7th place game. He was 6/10 from 3.
