Poll: If ASU and UL leave are whats your opinions on the conference?
Better off without UL, ASU and others and will take this conference to the next step in the coming years with our incoming members.
Get me out of this FCS+ conference.

RE: Troy, USA, ULM
We'd be fine. The only defections that truly hurt IMO were WKU and MTSU. I'd hate to see them go but I don't think losing UL or Ark St would be all that devastating, especially Ark St. That being said I do wish UALR would either finally add football (we wouldn't be in the position we are in if we had), or go to a basketball only conference. MVC has been calling, apparently, and that would be tough to pass up.

I would love to see y'all add football. But you have to change your mascot.05-stirthepot

Wow, if true dude, ya'll would be idiots to pass it up. MVC basketball would be awesome for any school that cares about basketball...and UALR obviously does.

If ULL and ASU leave it would be a blow bringing the SBC down to its knees. At that point CUSA is the official SBC reincarnated and the new SBC should go ahead and change the name and rebuild.

With the new additions of TXST, GaSo, and App St they will become the dominant forces along with Troy and ULM. All of these schools have the potential to be better than the schools in CUSA. I don't need to even list them.

The only challenges will be USM, MTSU, And WKU. Add asu and ull to the list if they go. The rest of the decent programs are either gone, leaving, or trying to leave.

Just a rumor that's popped up here and there, not sure if its true. Our AD has a lot of MVC connections, but our AD is also incredibly lazy and does virtually nothing to further the program. He's content to tread water and nothing more.

There's no way that you wouldn't be all over it if the MVC was calling. If they call, you'll know it because you'll be changing conferences.

UALR talking to the MVC would make sense if ASU was really planning on moving.

Louisiana and stAte are two of the top 4 programs the Belt has had, going all the way back to 2003.

You know nothing about the Sun Belt. Do research before you make yourself look foolish.
