Rob Bironas would be the best NFL, but Tracy Ham is our best player ever and a CFL Hall of Famer and would probably do OK in todays NFL. In the 80's, a black running QB didn't fit the mold

You must be too young to have seen Tracy Ham. Walter Payton was playing for the Bears back then or else Tracy would've been a 2-time winner of the Payton award.

The OP also wanted NFL credentials which Foster has none and AP was a flop because he couldn't block well enough to pick up a blitz.

Ham was the first college player to rush for 3,000 and pass for 5,000 in a career and he did it 10 years before Steve McNair.

I remember Ham just fine. Just think as an all around athlete Foster was better. AND he lost time under center thanks to VanDickwad.

Tracy Ham is a CFL Hall of famer. Jayson Foster was a great college player, but get real. There is no contest. Tracy Ham was the best eagle of all time.

No. Just no. You suffer frm the same delusion many eagle fans do. Simply because he didn't bring home a NC he isn't in consideration for being the best. The only thing I will give Ham over Foster is that he threw a better ball than Foster.
