Gotta give Tiger the edge as he is dialed in. That said, the putter can come and go and anyone can win it.

After that British Open a few years back where Tom Watson almost won, I wouldn't rule anything out. And didn't Ernie Els stumble his way to a major pretty recently?

None of the younger golfers right now really appeal to me.

For longshots, I like Fowler and Bradley at 50/1.

A full weekend of Fowler might just drive me to drink. The wardrobe is too much. It's the blue turf of the PGA.

Ernie did not stumble. He shot in the 60's three out of four rounds, including the last round... and he birdied #16 and #18 at Lytham.

I would LOVE to see him win it; I've come to appreciate him more as I've gotten older. He's one of the "good guys" and what he's done for South African charities and children with Autism is commendable.

As for Ricky Fowler, yes... he dresses horribly. BUT, he plays fast and is great with the fans. He's also a good kid who wants to WIN the Ryder Cup. Call me a fan.

Tiger has a new woman and I'm assuming that he's finally getting it on the regular again. Tiger wins.

I just had a thought (which is rare): Can you imagine how much fun it would be to see Freddie and Rory one group ahead of a final pairing of Tiger and Phil come Sunday? Wow...

Oh, Els deserves all the credit in the world for that win. By "stumbled," I just meant that he took a long, up-and-down career path to a very unexpected win. Probably a poor choice of words, though... IIRC, some younger golfer really did blow it on the last day of that event, not Els

.....just a reminder who Tiger is chasing

read my story above....chill bumps even today watching this....never forget it...one of my favorite memories in ALL of sport.

edit: check out the putter...first oversized alum headed putter...totally against everything he was ever about...and won with that damn thing...shot 30 on the back...absolutely amazing...to put it into perspective from 9 to 18 he goes birdie, birdie, birdie, bogey, birdie, par, eagle, birdie, birdie, par....at 46 yrs old, plays the last 10 holes 7 down...not too bad

If someone were to ever win it over the age of 50, it would be Couples. Man just does well there somehow.

That chip was impossible and he dunked it...hometown boy takes down the giants. I love the Masters...easily the best of the four majors.

Actually my second favorite behind the British. But it's a close second.
