RE: Defense Dominates Scrimmage
Was anyone from here able to make the trip? I thought I remember one of two posters saying they were thinking about it.

Our DL is a concern because of several defections?
Kerin, Mancz, and Meyers are all out injured? Not likin' that.
Nice to hear some otherwise good news about the defense. They better not hurt Woodside, though, dangit!
Interesting that they're still giving Macon reps at QB as they now have him listed on the roster as a WR.

I wouldn't look too much into guys sitting out spring practice because of injury. I believe a couple guys had surgery right after the season so they are probably not 100% yet, and other guys might just might be a little banged up. You don't want to risk anything in the spring, so if they aren't 100%, don't risk their injury getting worse.

If they were healthy the reps would be split more. This is allowing the subs next fall to get plenty of practice with some pressure to perform. Not a bad thing. They will all be ready for fall. I'm more concerned about a healthy season in the skill positions.

Yeah, it's just a shock to read that all 3 are out. No doubt it's good for others to get lots of reps, though. Sounds like they need 'em.
I still don't get the defections on defense comment, though. Is it zinging right over my head? What am I missing (and don't say a functional brain, LOL)?

talked to Kerin at WBB game. He had surgery on his ankle/foot (fall injury he played thru) during spring break. Will be ready for fall practice.

But defection implies a switching of loyalties or a forsaking.

Definitely implies something not applicable to the situation.
