Have they announced how much season tickets will be total?

I know you can reserve toward season tickets but haven't heard how much season tickets actually will be overall.

No information on that. After ETSU dropped football I was an Ohio football season ticket holder and they had a family plan where you could buy 2 adult season tickets and 2 kids tickets for $100 total. A great deal. I hope ETSU has something like this.

Student season tix at Cincinnati were $50. Doubt I`ll get that lucky.

Oh, and if fans have to donate to buy season tickets that would be a HORRIBLE mistake by ETSU. The idea is to GROW the base.

I asked about that when I called in today. No donation will be required for football season tickets, but the better seats will go to donors. Apparently this will also be the case for *basketball* this year too!

Finally they realize how dumb that whole debacle was. Requiring a membership in BASA to buy baseball season tickets has to be one of the dumbest things to come out of the athletic department ever. And that's saying a lot.

Re: Time to put your money where your mouth is
I have a post scheduled for Facebook in the morning challenging people to contribute and pointing them to where they can find more information about contributing. If you follow the posts there and want to help reach others then "like" that post and/or share it with others. Maybe we can help influence a few people that way.
Will do the same on Twitter at some point during the day too.

ETSUfan1, so to clarify, deposits to reserve season tickets are $50.00 for a half deposit or $100.00 for a full deposit per ticket, correct? Also, if you donate to BASA, do you get priority in picking your seats? I am assuming the Kickoff Fund is just to help raise money for the startup, is that tied to picking season ticket seats as well? Just trying to make sure I understand it correctly.

This may give you a better idea. It's my understanding, the more you donate, the better tickets you will get.

RE: Time to put your money where your mouth is
Does anyone know how successful the kickoff fund has been at this early stage raising money? Any idea how many season tickets have been purchased so far? I made my donation to the kickoff fund and season tickets over the phone and they said they have received a ton of calls, but I'm not sure that translates to donations.

RE: Time to put your money where your mouth is
A new stadium is where the big money is needed. I remember Stanton wanted $15 million in hand for a new stadium BEFORE football would have been given the green light in 2007. Well, with Noland, football has already been given the green light without any stadium donations in hand, and I'm hoping Dr. Noland knows much, much more than the rest about how the new stadium will be funded.

I've heard there are some big time donors that are ready to put up a good chunk of the stadium costs.

That is incredible, outstanding, and certainly helps explain Noland's enthusiasm, determination, and full speed ahead approach.

Any word on how the fundraising effort is going?

I reserved season tickets today and it said row 2 seat 40 something, does this mean that under 2 rows of seats have been reserved? I hope not.[/u]
