No speculation about it. There have been some over the years.
But not this year.

RE: MAC Players In The NBA Draft
what? zeke is a definite draft pick. where depends on how he plays in workouts but there's no way everyone in the nba passes on him twice.
nobody else will get drafted. cooper will have a chance to get paid playing somewhere, but will need to work his way to the nba if he has the drive for that. baltic could play pro somewhere if he gets his confidence back, certainly has pro body, athleticism and skills. evans from kent will play pro ball, wouldn't be surprised to see him the developmental league he could compete at the 3 spot at a high level. abreu will be a high pick in the prison league.

Hmmmm, OK for you to convict him but not for anyone else?

Chad for has him listed as the 18th best center in the draft ( LINK) and number 132 over all. He has him projected as a second rounder / undrafted free agent. He'll get workouts for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes undrafted.
He lists DJ Cooper a the #46 PG (226 overall) in the draft. ( LINK) He is alos listed as second round / undrafted. May get some UFA workouts.
It's probably the hardest sport to get drafted in, since there are only 60 selections total. I didn't see anyone else from the MAC in the rankings.
Edit: For reference 5 centers were taken in round 1 and 5 more in round 2 last year. Six centers 7 feet or taller went undrafted.

Who knows?
I think he has a good chance to stick with the right team once he gets in a camp, and he will certainly get a free-agent rookie contract. Drafted? Iffy. A lot depends on whom the last half dozen teams have already drafted when they get to their last pick. The question might be if he doesn't make a roster, will he go D-league or Europe?
Last MAC player drafted? I think it was Brandon Hunter. He was taken somewhere in the second round back in '03. That was the year Chris Kamen went #6 in the first round, so technically, that would make Hunter the last MAC player taken. Ten years without a player drafted tells you something about the MAC.
Wow, didn't realize it had been that long. Interesting to note Chris Kaman is the only MAC player who is still active in the NBA. Also, per realgm, the only players from the MAC to appear in the NBA since Kaman / Hunter were drafted are John Edwards (2004-2006) and Xavier Silas (2012).

FALSE: Antonio Daniels was still in the league as recently as 2010-11 season.

I don't seem to recall John Edwards being drafted. He hung on for two years around the league as a FA, if I recall correctly.
