OVC Next Year
How does the OVC men's basketball race shake out next season?
I think the East will still be the best overall division but Murray should have the most talent returning of any team. EKU (I hate to admit) and Murray State should be the top two teams overall.

the east was by far the best division this year.

the mules were fake winners of the west by default.

you need to go to racer nation and invite those losers over here. i would but they BANNED ME FOR LIFE for something i said on hilltopper haven.

there used to be an ovc board ran by the racers but they shut it down.

i've used the sun belt board for years over here and am now a poster on the c-usa board.

go over to racer nation and tell cowboy racer this place exists. he was one of the good guys and always liked to drop words on other ovc folks.

tell 'em i'm waiting for them!

While I don't think they'll win the division, I think Eastern Illinois will show an even more marked improvement than what they did last year. They were one of the better teams down the stretch last year and although the record may not have shown it, they could have potentially made a run in the OVC tourney had they not run into an equally hot team in SEMO. While it will certainly be a couple of seasons before we see the true potential of this program, things certainly are trending in the right direction in Charleston.

you beat us by single digits with our best player out and out point god breaking his foot in the first half.

this with your claimed 2 NBA players on your team. i still laugh thinking that the loafer will play in the association but you guys say so.

ya'll already making excuses for the asswhoopin' you're gonna get in diddle or is steve 'not so clean' prohm trying to get out of the series now that he's run out of Billy Kennedy players?

and.......you still didn't make the ncaa or any tourney. we got our players back and went to the ncaa AGAIN.

dark days ahead for the mules snitch......dark dark days.

No idea about basketball but our football team looked greatly improved Friday night. We had over 4,000 attend our annual J day game.

4k is impressive. that would be like the murray homecoming attendance!

actually, i've seen jacksonville's name dropped on the sun belt board a bit. most of the troy folks are dead set against it but everyone is trying to come up with who will replace us. even moreso if ark. state and ull get a call to c-usa.

some folks argue the belt doesn't need 3 teams from the state of alabama. i don't know. we've had 2 from louisiana for quite awhile and when south al added football that gave us 2 from bammer. we had the f_u twins from flarda so i guess 2 teams from one state is okay but 3 is not.

i think the add ons of georgia southern and appy state were the best 2 out there. it might take both a little while to get up and running but they'll demand good football at both places.

i was very happy to see the hire of ray harper. i envisioned the days of cutchin/diddle. western fans, however are unworthy -- if 'beed is the model. i used to love it when ray shoved it to bruce pearl. pearl is no prohm as i believe ray will learn. of course, i believe harper has too much class to drop the series just because of a few losses.

glad to see you made it over here cowboy. whatever you do....don't tell that mouth-breather msuowns about this place. he'll end up causing me to get probation points for setting him straight.

we're hearing steve 'not so clean' prohm is interested in dropping the series since he's run out of the 'fake bk' players on his squad.

speaking of which.....whatever has happened to the 'real bk'?

i am a ray harper DEFENDER. i wholely believe he knows what he's doing in every facet of the program. there are many racer fans that said you guys would have never taken him as coach. i'm certainly pleased you didn't.

we have a few knuckleheads that even after 2 unbelievable trips to the dance with squads that in no way were picked to be there....don't believe.

let's see what ray does this year amigo.

the real question for you racer fans is 'what will not so clean prohm do without the kennedy recruits'?

Troy will do most anything possible to hold a school back in Alabama. It is understandable if you have any knowledge of the university. The University of Phoenix is a more prestigious academic university.
