Prothro is the only one not to return after the injury. IMO, Prothro's (twisting and multiple breaks) was the worse compared to the others.

Prothro also was disowned by the university that he was playing for after the injury.

To the point where he was begging for an opportunity to help coach here.

I think it was the (suggested) mishandling of the Prothro injury that ended Dr Les Fowler's employment as head "bone doc" with the UA Athletic Dept.
