On the other hand, FOX has been very aggressive seeking programming, and the C7 hit paydirt. So it seems CUSA is riding the right horse for the time being. Also, this WNBA announcement illustrates, sports programming remains popular with tv broadcasters.

CUSA needs to find out what went wrong for Nbe/A12 and avoid those mistakes. CUSA should find out the circumstances between C7 tv negotiations and why that occurred and why Nbe/A12 floundered. How does the experiences of C7 and Nbe/A12 affect CUSA, which it certainly does.

For example, with a CUSA-16 going on to, apparently, a CUSA-18, should CUSA break down the huge inventory of football and basketball games to various networks? Or give it all to FOX/CBS? CUSA has plenty of time to plan it strategies and seek alternatives.

It appears to me Arseco was asleep at the switch, thinking he had an "ace" up his sleeve in that NBC, which doesn't have college football, would pay a tonload of money for Nbe/A12. Surprise!

I watched the Tulsa @Arkansas streamlined over the internet which was quite good. Technology is happening so rapidly, the difference between tv broadcast and internet broadcast will be greatly diminished when CUSA renegotiates its contract in three years. Streamlining should be a strong component of CUSA's next tv contract. Any games not on FOX/CBS should be streamlined. Exposure is the first goal; tv money the second.

Nobody gives a **** about the new CUSA. If they did, you would have seen the current tv deal redone. Instead now instead of 14 million/12 teams, it's 14 million/14 teams.
