DJ, what a fantastic story, what a great thing it would be for him to play here. MissJ be sure to tell him how much we are pulling for him to get his chance at the pro level.

I can see it. Hustle and effort 9th man. Think a cross between Bo Outlaw, Walter McCarthy, and Bruce Bowen.

Develop his shot, and continue to be coachable.

Guys like that have value just making the stars work in practice.

It's unlikely, but I ain't betting against him.

Regardless of outcome, analytical opinion of crowd and board, he deserves a shot and a try-out. Delightfully surprise us, again, D.J.!

I don't think so. I don't either declares, even though I always want a junior with a chance (Tarik, JJ, Geron, CC) to consider giving the process a test drive.

It used to be common practice to declare, get feedback and pull.

I hope any of our juniors who might be helped by this (now abbreviated) process give it a whirl. You can always pull your name post-feedback.

It can be a job fair almost 03-wink

If he doesn't get drafted he will turn heads in the D League and attract alot of attention. But i see him either getting drafted late first round or being picked up as a FA before the season

I almost hope he is NOT drafted. Easier to find the right situation at that point.

End of 2nd round < FA rookie league.

Prove it there, then find the correct placement. It's not like 2nd round is guaranteed money...

I don't see why people can't see him as a nba player. Look at some of the players on nba benches.

I hope DJ gets a shot!

But, NBA benches have players that were very productive at the college level. I really think if DJ didn't have asthma problems, he would have a decent shot at a long career in the NBA. Maybe a team will pick him up and know how to use him.

I love his hops. But it's his incredible attitude that makes him so special. Whatever he does, he will do well.

Because he's 6'5 and can't shoot or handle the ball and has bad knees. Hopefully he can make a little cash overseas.

Ultimately, that could be the route he goes. Whatever the future holds I think we all agree we want nothing but the best for him.

Not much shopping to do now since they changed the rules. Only have a couple more weeks before the deadline. No workouts or anything.

You must be the only one being told whatever it is you're talking about. I don't think anyone expected Geron to be in there yet and Adonis played his way off the boards for now. Not to mention one is a rising junior and one a rising senior with only ine year one D1 experience.
