Rapid Registration Approval -- Next 24 hours
There are an ENORMOUS number of Georgia Southern and App State fans who registered in the last 24 hours. I will be doing rapid approval of those and all other registrations the next 24 hours.

So now is the time to get in while your usernames are available and you can cut your approval wait time from a day down to a few hours!

I might try to switch apache over to threaded mode tonight. It should be faster and more efficient. Trouble is when I tried that 2-3 years ago it was HIDEOUSLY unstable. So we've partying like it's 1999 with the old prefork style apache. Every time somebody hits the box with a request it spawns a new process to serve that request. It's slow. It's inefficient. It's super crazy stone cold stable.

I fixed the database side up REALLY nicely watching things happen in real time during Memphis playing in the C-USA tournament. That's the trouble with high volume sites though ... ya fix one thing and then something new will break.

Wait and see the CRUSH if JMU actually makes a move to the SB, MAC or wherever.

One issue apparently is with what type e-mail accounts are "allowed". I know it's to avoid spammers, but is there another way to verify that a g-mail account is legit and allow the people?

I know little about this process, so not telling you how to do your job, just that has been a deal breaker with several of our heavy hitters already.
