Lutz would have been a better choice. Just my opinion.

Keep in mind that Miss state basketball is not in the shape it is because of their current coach. It is in such bad shape because of how Stansbury and Cunningham left it.

Maybe not you. But a few of the posters on this board do read and post over there.... Which I don't have a problem with. Just pointing out that some are quick to bring up basketball stuff on our football forums.

He wouldn't keep his job long with those results.... Maestri got over looked with his poor success in the SBC era because of his past history...

I am feeling sorry for Troy, as much as we love to hate them, they don't deserve to be stuck in what's becoming of the Sun Belt. Let me also note... UAB deserves better as well but it is what it is.

Poor choice IMHO. Lutz is far and away the better choice. He must have turned it down because I can't see how a sane person with take that bum over Lutz.

McGee is working just fine. You will see shortly when we whip that ass.

Seriously? You guys were out played by us in the first game last season. We just lost the game. Not to mention a BS flag the year before by the great Sun Belt ref's when we were driving to win the game. I'm ready to go down to the farm for the first game this year.

Good Luck. Lutz would have been a better pick, but getting rid of Maestri is a positive step.
