New members App State and Ga Southern...
Who in the current SBC are you most excited to play in 2015? And why?

Georgia State for lulz.

Troy for proximity.

Louisiana for tailgating. (And my mom's family lives in Ponchatoula)

Ga State - should be an interesting first game. I am guessing they will make it in Atlanta

Troy - potential as a nice rivalry

Ark St. - See if the Red Wolves can avenge the shellacking Ga Southern put on them in the 86 FCS finals.

App will still be our biggest rival.

Western Kentucky (if they stick around) for proximity.

Louisiana for tailgating.

Georgia Southern, just because that's our rival.

Well, we'll probably be on everyone's schedule in 2014, and I will say Troy. The two teams finished the 2001 season with a 1-1 mark against one-another. Troy took a 34-28 win over App in the second game of the season in Boone, and Appalachian ended Troy's I-AA era with a 33-30 victory in the first round of the playoffs in Alabama.

I don't know if App and Ga Southern will be on everyone's schedule in 2014, but they will certainly play a few SBC schools to even things out for home and home purposes in 2015.

Troy for me. Have always followed them some.

Will be interesting to go to all the Sun Belt schools though.
If it's stAte it's going to be interesting game I would think. Predicting ASU to win, of course.
Want to see Bobcat's stadium.
Would like some Cajun good food and to visit both Louisiana schools.
USA and Georgia Southern in Atlanta will be good exploration trips.
Doubt WKU will be around, but that would be an easy trip.

I look forward to playing all the conference schools......and enjoying what makes those schools special on game day. Yes, I want Appalachian to always win but making friends and doing my part as a fan to show the rest of college football that the Sun Belt has a great product on the field and a stadium full of people that back their school is just as important. That is how we pass those schools and conferences "perceived" to be better than us. It is great to be a member of a conference where some games are played before more than five to eight thousand people. For my alma mater the Sun Belt is a perfect fit and where it belongs.

Excluding Appy, I'm split 50/50 on GaSta and TROY.

I want to be there to watch Panama in person in DaDome. I'm most excited about visiting TROY and seeing the competition on the field, the fans and their band.
