Myrtle Beach
Looking at getting away the end of August for a week. Visited about 10 yrs ago, so don't really remember the area too well or what may have changed. Good places to stay (condo/beach house), restaurants, venues? Just something oceanfront and close to everything.

RE: Myrtle Beach
Pretty much high rise condos now very touristy. We stayed at Ocean's One several years now, its right in the middle of the strand. Tons of places to eat, but my wife hates seafood that limits us. I do like Hungry Howies sandwiches for lunch and their pizza aint bad. Wild Wing Cafe in barefoot landing has big selection of chicken wing bar food. Tons of nice restaurants at Broadway at the beach. Bunch if seafood buffets but I steer clear if those. Theres a placecalled the Captains Table? Right on the beach that is supposed to have the best seafood.
