Props to Coach Pastner...
Coach P got them back in the game, but some players didn't step up... Same crap on lack of fundamentals, just different year...
When you have to keep reminding players like Tarik Black to play defense, something is not right... When your frontcourt players Black and Goodwin don't rebound crap something is not right... And I am not even gonna talk about Chris Crawford... Adonis Thomas got no heart and energy, he should be slashing but settle for jump shots and fadeaways...
All we wanted from these kids, make this game competitive... Instead, we got blown out of the building by a beatable Michigan St team who wanted it more and was hungrier to play defense and rebound the ball...
Hard to run a fast offense when you don't play hard-nosed defense and get rebounds... Fastbreaks usually come off steals and defensive rebounds, we didn't get many rebounds today..
Also, it's time to let Jimmy Williams go... Our bigs don't even know how to box out for rebounds and don't have any offensive moves whatsoever... Just like the Xavier game, we got killed on the boards... Same sh*t, different game..
Special thanks to Joe Jackson, Geron Johnson and DJ Stephens... They played like they belong in the Big Dance..
