I won't waste time registering but I appreciate Mapdude fighting the good fight.
Cal is not our coach and we are happy about.
This is not Cals team. There are no players or any crumbs left from his days.
Yes we had some NCAA issues. A vendetta vs Cal and for something the NCAA approved twice and never attempted to show wrong doing. Read your history we took cals screwing.
Our players are not talking trash about this game and never made statements about throwing out the ball. They may talk some trash as they fly by on the way to another fast break.
The only thing we have in common was the thrashing we provided the last time we played. That was real.
I thing both teams have quality young men and outstanding coaches. The best team will win.
We are recognized as a top academic performing team.. Nothing to argue there. Read the NCAA stats not what we say.
Your fans sure do curse a lot and have really nasty attitudes. We will pray for them.
I think this will be a fun and entertaining game. I expect the Tigers to win but MSU is the three seed and all the pressure resides there. We are playing for fun and for each game. MSU is playing for the pride of an obnoxious superiority complex.
Tick rock. Game time soon.

RE: Open post to msu fans
The 50-20 halftime score, the breakaway Dorsey slam that "...could have brought down a board" (as per Packer) and served notice to a hugely unaware national audience that MEMPHIS was for real, the praise and platitudes given to the TIGERS during the game by Nance and Packer.....is part of NCAA history.
It happened. I realize many of the Spartan faithful still are embarrassed by that beatdown but it was 5 years ago. MEMPHIS has endured defeats, too. Try to let it go, if possible.
As Tigerx3 noted, this is now Pastner's team. MEMPHIS paid the price for having Fredo run with WWW and push the NCAA rules to the edge and then try his damndest to absolutely nuke the program upon his exit to UK.
I'm a bit surprised at the anger and disdain exhibited to MEMPHIS by some of your fans. I attribute it to that Sweet 16 demolition job from 3/28/08. Time heals "almost" all wounds, I guess.

I appreciate the chops....jousting with the mental midgets on their board is really entertaining though...not much of a challenge...

Nice effort, x3, but it's like casting pearls before swine. Some of the things I've read that they've written were beyond cruel and in to sinister and dark. No more respect for their board, fan base. Still respect Izzo and their team per se.
