Marquette needed a miracle to stay alive.

Big 10 and A 10 are the winners this year. Plus Harvard and Coastal Florida

the c-7 looks like a huge joke right now too... marquette should have lost, on top of villanova and georgetown. (as well as ND, even though they aren't that group.) all the defectors pretty much have yucked it up. Don't consider UL one of that group since they are actually playing in the league next year respectfully.

Doesn't matter if it is or not. As long as they bring the cash home they are ok with me.

Even though UC lost to Creighton yesterday, I still don't see that the new additions bring much to the C-7 league. When McDermott leaves they will be at the bottom of that league ( I know they have a great fan base, but what happens when they really start losing ), fighting with Xavier ( every year they have been going backwards ), DePaul and Seton Hall for last place. Butler, without Stevens will really take a step back and he will leave for a big time job someday. This league will stay a high mid-major in the long run, 3 or 4 NCAA tourney teams on average.
