Yet you give the t-shirt aggy a pass. To bad aggy won't give commuter U the time of day in football. LOL

They play in the SEC and win and have Johnny Manziel, I respect that. If you are a CFB fan, how can you not like Johnny Manziel. Unlike A&M, you guys dont' win anything, therefore you get no respect. That and I am about to attend A&M soon.

UH gets more national attention than Tech and we are not in power conference. You just brag about attendance, that is not enought to get respect.

Manziel will leave soon for the NFL and your former coach will soon leave for a better job. If UH mattered nationally, they would be a inpower 4 conference with a better academic rating. Everyone knows what UH is and what they will likely always be, commuter U with a small fan base that don't contribute a dime to the University when they graduate.

In your deluded world, all these things you say insults, but they really are not.

That does play a role in expansion. I love Texas football but Tech ruined it

I actually got into A&M but chose Tech because I didn't want to be a brainwashed fool who idolizes milkmen( male yell leaders for the uninformed), fake army and a boring band that plays the same songs year after year.

I damn sure didn't send my app to SMU. Why pay for an overpriced/undervalued education.

We are tier 1 where is Tech?

Same as SMU according to the USNWR.
I loved watching your die hard fans stay at least through the 3rd quarter versus WVU

01-wingedeagle We had 57K that stayed until the end. I know I was there.

Tech is still HRU 03-lmfao03-lmfao

Yet we beat UH to the finish line for NRUF funding in this state. Commuter U is still trying to improve their horrible 6 year graduation rates because of the huge numbers of PTers that go to school there.

You didnt beat us....Okay, maybe in your delusional world.

Initially, we beat you because the commission had issues with your audit.

Funny, Tech is listed 1st in this article.

Our chancellor said the THECB ( Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board) initially had issues with UH's audit and they would come in 2nd. UH fixed their issues but we finished in 1st.

I agree but it is additional money that both of us get from the state. If this state wants more real "Tier 1" Universities, then voters need to slice up the PUF. Tech is strong in this state but we don't have enough power to get rid of the stranglehold that the UT and A&M systems have on the PUF. Maybe you don't care since you will be attending aggy soon. If you care at all about UH, you should want change to the PUF in the state of Texas. UT and A&M don't need the PUF anymore other than to feed money to their worthless system schools but yet they hoard all that money.

This is one a the few areas that UH and Tech could work on together.

Right now, its being split 2 ways, what happens when the other six make enough progress to get a slice of the pie? Does this fund help anyone at that point? FACK NO!

He shouldn't since he chimed in. Mods let certain subjects go way to long and cut others way to quick. I hope this subject is allowed to remain open, which means it will be shut down shortly.

You should know fans in this state are passionate. We care and want the best for our respective alma mater/t-shirt schools.

I give 10th credit, he is a die hard t-shirt aggy fan hell bent on bashing Tech, Baylor and the Big 12. At least he is passionate.

Without passion, these boards become obsolete.

The only other school close enough is UT-Dallas. Do you think Tx Sate, UNT, UT-Arlington have a chance with their graduation/research/PHd numbers etc? I don't. Sorry

I do read coogfans, they hate all in-state, nothing personal against Tech. They are pissed off at earlier admins ( and rightfully so...). The hate is also directed more towards Baylor/Texas (rightfully so). Bunch of Tech posters (and Tech Trolls) post there, we don't start **** with posters like VE.

And its not like RP does not post **** about UH, they do.

St Arnold, RT and few others come to mind in regards to Tech bashing. I think VE is a troll trying to stir you guys up and give you false hope. He goes by Blackbeard on other boards. For the most part, RP doesn't care about UH. Saiken on the Rivals site goes overboard on RRS and the WVU scout site with her/his UH bashing.

I think you guys don't give "wordup" the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't hate UH but he will stand up for his University, regardless of the site.

It's derailed, off topic, and nothing more than a tired argument with the same people refusing to let it die.

Time to lock it.

Free pass this time since I chimed in but going forward we all need to watch it. Forum bans may be in order for the bigger offenders in the future. It gets old.

If we get another of these A&M vs. TT arguments going, everyone involved will need to find a new forum to continue that argument, because they won't be allowed on this one. We're sick and tired of you guys rehashing the same tired argument...

Get that? 05-mafia
