....and what have you learned that you can tell the rest of us dummies? Each year, I finish mine and think, "man, this is a good bracket, this year". By end of the first weekend, I've already crashed and burned.

I think Ive been doing these for atleast 15 years now. I'm just 30 years old. I don't think I had much success the first few years. But Ive had a couple of years where Ive swept office pools taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd and pissing off alot of people that only submitted one bracket. If there is no limit, then take advantage and do a few different ones.

The key in my opinion is to not take too many upsets. If you lose a team early that you picked to make a deep run then you pretty much are screwed. Having your elite eight teams and final four teams being solid teams that have been consistent throughout the season helps. Kind of like having New Mexico go far this year or Duke last season might be the kiss of death.

And that goes the other way as well. Say for instance a VCU makes a final four. In reality not too many people would have picked that. So not having VCU in your final four might not hurt your chances for succes.

Lots of variables but if you take some time, in addition watch alot of these different teams throughout the season you have a chance for success.

I haven't done one in several years, but I won the office one the year Arkansas won the championship, I think I missed only five games and had the Final Four perfect.

I've been doing bracket pools since at least '85. Have won a few, but lost more often than not! I have still have faded old newspaper brackets where I filled in names and edited them as teams advanced. I used to manage a few bracket pools. It often got very tedious having to provide updates after each half-round.

Nowadays, we use all the online bracket services! Today, I check my iPad after each game to see how all three of my bracket picks are doing!!! Time marches on.

Im in first right now in the MT.org ESPN group. Of course I only have 3 FF teams left so I think I might be in trouble.

I've done these for over 20 years...

Won 2 office pools and a few hundred bucks over the years...

It has gotten harder because there are so many good players..

About five years. I will just say, this year I had picked Florida Gulf Coast to make it to the Elite 8.
