I would say a gift for Ole Miss but I am not so sure that Lasalle isn't the better team. Bruce Weber is coaching like he was at Illinois.

They gotta get through La Salle first. La Salle may not have the big name, but they are a quality team.

Buckner and Holloway are probably going to have big games. LA Salle plays 4 guards and 1 big, if he gets in foul trouble, look out. Not to mention if Henderson gets hot. I do agree LA Salle is a quality team though, but OM matches up well with them.

Regarding OM, I can't help but think back to our path in 2006...we avoided playing Arkansas in Dallas as a 1 seed thanks to Bucknell. They avoid playing KState in KC, though granted KSU would've been the higher seed.

I also think there are similarities to Miss State's 96 Final Four run. If #13 seed Princeton doesn't beat defending national champion #4 seed UCLA, Mississippi State probably doesn't reach the Sweet 16, much less the Final Four. That MSU team also had a polarizing figure who, if he got hot, could shoot it from half court with his eyes closed (Dontae Jones).

They still have to get through LaSalle...and I bet they give them fits. Hopefully they overlook them, thinking they are walking to the sweet 16

If Mississippi whips LaSalle, they deserve the Sweet 16. More power to them.

But the A10 is looking VERY good as a conference.

What I REALLY like is all these power conference teams getting beat by A10, Florida Gulf State, Harvard, etc. Gobble that crow, Bilas,you bald headed Dukie punk.

Sippy has a great team this year. Lots of veterans and a real spark plug in Marshall Henderson. They can make a run if they stay out of foul trouble and Henderson doesn't go all Norman Bates
