Generic?

I never heard it anywhere before Finch and Memphis. To me, it has always been a signature cheer in Memphis since the '80s.

Maybe it's "generic" now. Maybe I'm mistaken and it didn't start with Memphis... but I certainly have always felt it was a "memphis thing."

i really do think it did start here. the cheerleaders picked it up from finch. i cannot recall hearing it before then.

Yep it started here. Sure it was around but never so popular as with Larry. I just wish the fanbase would scream it more loudly. Sounds intimidating to me, with the clapping in between and all.
