I got my book last night and it was a gift sent to me by Coach Novak with a special personal message inside. It is a quality looking book and I can't wait to delve into it this weekend. It will find its palce on the coffee table.

Hopefully, he'll be in at some point to do the same for us common folk. Wonder if this is the year they will honor him?

The 10/26 game might be nice. It's a Saturday. Would also have all the finishing touches done for the CPC by then.

If not then, it would be next year for sure....right....?

The author, Dan Verdun, will be autographing his book at the Spring game (April 13).

I had posted a thread to have folks nominate Coach Novak for the Huskie Hall of Fame this year. HOPEFULLY someone besides me actually did it. I emailed my nomination & athletics said they would forward it.

So...anyone else? How about nominating Coach Joe?!

I had posted a thread to have folks nominate Coach Novak for the Huskie Hall of Fame this year. HOPEFULLY someone besides me actually did it. I emailed my nomination & athletics said they would forward it.

So...anyone else? How about nominating Coach Joe?!

Yeah, I also did. And am the one who mentioned about "Joe Novak Way" and honoring the 2003 team this year. Hopefully all of these happen.

Yup, I told them the same thing. Even said that several on here had also mentioned that they were willing to donate to this project.
