I used to when I was there and actually went to games. In the old days when all games were televised I had a ritual for the away games.

But now I'm just lucky to catch a game on the tube and try and keep my blood pressure at a controllable level. Love watching the Tigers on the 120" screen!!

I have to either watch the entire game (from beginning to end) or not watch at all. I DVR the games and watch them, or if I can’t DVR them I wait about three hours after game time and start checking ESPN or MT.ORG for the score.

Another superstition is I can’t play on my laptop or phone while the Tigers are playing. I’ve noticed lately that if I start typing an email or play Angry Birds that a 15 point lead starts to dwindle. So now, no Star Wars Angry Birds during game time.

The 4 times we lost this year I started watching half way in between the games or started playing with my girls or whatever…..no more of that. Tigers have my undivided attention Saturday from 1:45pm to the buzzer.

If I can't watch or listen to the game I keep up with Jason on Twitter. He's pretty damn good at describing the game and keeping up real time. Better than....I better not go there.

During any type of tournament the tigers are in; preseason, conference or NCAA I can not be in the same building as my step-father during the game. Started when we lost to Vilinova and I broke it once when I called him from Singapore when the Kansas game went to overtime. Now it is a rule
