Yep, that's in the bylaws. Your basketball program has earned a lot of money for CUSA over the years so I'm all for the Tigers to continue to advance.

And regardless, MTSU gets nothing from the exit fees from Memphis. The only Ncaa check MTSU gets is passed on to the SunBelt.

It's semantics, but I'd disagree - it seems more like they DON'T pay an exit fee since, per the NCAA tournament fee structure, credits are won for the conference and not the participating team. memphis wouldn't be taking those credits with them anyway.

The problem is that we were already getting this money. So we basically just lose Memphis with nothing to show for it.
