1) Not rotating off of Dova.

2) Defensive rebounding position. Shaq, DJ, Black, and Adonis have to stay between their man and the bucket.

Other than that, I'm not seeing a lot that will. They aren't gonna pressure our ball handlers. They(SMU) will have to play great help side defense.

Guards have to block out. Their guards gang rebound. That and keep our cool and we'll be fine.

Our bigs are more athletic so the ball won't be available below the rim. Now, our bigs do get sloppy as far as positioning. But, our bigs did combine to grab 21 bigs

our bigs can only block out one guy. The crashers need to be stopped too.

That is too easy.

1) Guarding 1 on 1. They can't guard they man 1 on 1.
2) Playing zone, they won't be able to stop penetration even in a zone. MTSU broke down their zone a few times.
3) Pace of play. Dova and Holt both get fatigued during the game. Memphis will play in their face much more than MTSU did.

Need our guys to not bite on their head fakes.

Cover the 3 point shooters.

Hope the refs let them play but please call the moving screens!!

This. I said to mrs. Snooker while watching that MTSU looked like Memphis. A touch foul on SMs end of the floor gets called, yet Delladova can push off with every move on the floor and the refs swallow their whistles.

Dellavedova getting hot, if he gets hot, could make for a difficult afternoon. Defense will be key.

This. Dova was playing hurt most of the second half. If he's healthy, it's a different gear.
