Is it me or do those pictures of PJS and D-F look extremely similar? I hadn't noticed the similarities in the stadiums before...

I doubt I was the only one who saw this one coming. ESPN, game at Robert Morris, UK finished the season as a really poor team and RMU is actually a pretty decent team -- the bottom of the NIT bracket is often a lot better than the bottom of the NCAA bracket. I think RMU had a top #80 RPI.

This illustrates the point a lot of us have been making. If those middling SEC/ACC clubs that complain about getting left out actually played decent mid majors on the road, they probably wouldn't win. And the NCAA is right to punish them for hiding behind Duke/UNC/Florida/UK's skirt (of course, UK itself was the middling team this year)

Remember, the almost exact same UNC team that beat Illinois in 2005 to win the NCAA title, went 8-20 as freshmen. Soak it up Louisville, it won't last forever...

For those that probably missed maybe the best minute of entertainment on ESPN....here's the clip from 3 years ago when two Western PA guys go at it (Calipari and ESPN's John Buccigross)...you have to hand it to Buccigross for keeping his cool, even after being insulted by Calipari (by a popular local slang)...and then throwing in a ZINGER about Western PA's Donnie Iris right back at Calipari:

The NCAA tournament selection committee got it right by not selecting this bubble team (UK). The NIT got it wrong by seeding them so high!
