Tigers got a chance to remove two monkeys off their back in their first two games if they can win them.

Win the first game, and the tigers get their first ncaa tourney win under pastner.

Win the 2nd game, and the tigers most likely get their first win over a top 20 team under pastner.

The Tigers are also 1-0 versus the West Coast Conference as a 6 seed beating Doug Christie and Pepperdine in the 1992 tourney on the way to the Elite Eight massacre that supposedly happened but I have blocked out of my memory. F you, Nick Van Exel.
