On the post-game radio show, Jim Heller said that that was the 'paid attendance' and that there were a lot more fans in attendance than that because of the students (who got in free). So is the 2,546 really just the PAID attendance, or was Jim Heller just guessing about that?

Early on he said 4,000. Looked like lots of empty seats to me but I am watching feed and not there.

Def was not 4k. And I think students are technically 'paid' attendance because the president is pqying for us. I think the wnit does not allow students to get in for 'free'

Looked like 2,500. Nice crowd for a first round game.
I'd like to say we can get around 4,000 for the Saturday matinee. But maybe I'm just dreaming.

I definitely feel like 4k is doable since it's a Saturday. I bet the admin was hoping for a Sunday game because they would have had another 24 hours to sell tickets.

Winner of Saturday's game plays winner of Illinois vs. Eastern Illinois which is being played in Champaign. We would have a great shot at another home game as Illinois only had 900 for their first round victory over Miami while Eastern Illinois only averaged 750 per home game this season.

Game is on a big night of basketball on tv. Ticket prices up from last year apparently.
Have similar thoughts and concerns. My wife and I really debated whether or not to attend Thursday's game. Right now it looks like we will. Add our two Mom's and it's a $60 game for us (and every NIT game after).
Just really disappointed the team didn't get it done in Cleveland, in front of a very nice Toledo crowd. Would have been great to be in Columbus for an NCAA game this weekend instead of back home in Toledo.... again.
I do wonder whether or not the attendance is going to be all that great for this year's NIT run.
I think most will have the same feelings, but many wont spend the money this year. I can't really get excited for it personally.
You guys are ROCKET FANS??? REALLY??? Who woulda thunk it...

We should surpport our Rockets no matter what. They had a great year, yes, we came up short, but in a few weeks, if, all goes well, we will not see Nama or the other 4 seniors again. Yeswe lost in Cleveland again, but let's not take it out on the ladies. We should pack the house for every game. If you feel the team let down, then stay home, but don't complain about ticket prices, our loss in Cleveland, or the lousy MAC. Anybody can do that.

Bgsucks is charging $13 for all seats and only the first three hundred students get in free. So if you don't want to pay that get gen adm for less but be there. I would suggest going over to Ut in the morning to get tickets or call to order and then get from will call. Nice day tomorrow and non school day so I think we will go over 5000.

I'm thinking 3,000. There is a lot of basketball on tomorrow. Especially with Michigan playing at noon and MSU at 2:30. Youngstown State, isn't a big name. I thought more people would have been at the Butler game.
