I do not understand him, at first he says "I think both play in teams will be favored over memphis" then turns around and says "Memphis is the most athletic and talented team in the tournament" then when he appears on sportscenter he says "I think both MTSU and Saint Mary's would steam roll Memphis" he is considered an "expert" but he also said Michigan St. Would steamroll memphis in 08, gotta love ESPN and Duke alumni reporters, they always have something to bring down the Tigers/Grizzlies.

I consider JJ, Geron, Shaq, and DJ to be the only athletic players on our team. Wilson also is but he doesn't get enough minutes. Thomas, Crawford, Black are average and Antonio is average at best. When you compare this team to any of Cal's good teams with the possible exception of 2007, we are much less athletic.

If so then Jackson, Barton, Crawford and Thomas would also be considered athletic along with Wilson wouldn't you say?

Wasn't Bilas about the only analyst that picked us to beat UCLA and Kansas in '08? I thought we liked him. Do we hate him too now? Just want to make sure I've got the company line down.

Getting to the foul line better as well. Maybe he was gun-shy about contact early in the season, worried that he'd re-injure himself.

I lost my respect for Jay when he and Vitale made an ass out of themselves a year or two ago about a certain team making the big dance and others that should have made it. I lost a lot of respect for him with that.

Athletic and Talent doesn't necessarily = wins ya know..

Bilas has been a complete ass the last few days. He wants Virginia in over MTSU because of wins over Duke at home and Wisconsin on the road. Yet neglects to mention they also lost to a 5 win ODU team, Delaware, George Mason, Wake and Georgia Tech. His schtik is "who did you beat" but dayum when you have 5 bad losses like that you shouldn't be in the tourney. Hell by his logic Penn St and Purdue should be in.

I don't think I'd characterize that as a "well known fact." Well-known facts have documented sources, and are undisputed.

There are plenty of people who believe the other guy's version (though it's probably best if they keep that to themselves... if only to be polite).

I'd like to know how many times Bilas has seen the three teams play.

I would be more interested in Spongebob Squarepants' take on the NCAA tourney. So if either play-in team does not steamroll over us do you think Bilas will eat crow publicly? Steamroll to me means they will win by 15 or 20. Yeah, Vegas will have either of the play-in teams giving up 10 points. That is delusional.
