Not even close, we had no choice in this matter, and the fans can actually attend the games.

of course we had a choice. "we" picked the early bowl so fedora could go on to his next challenge in life a soon as possible.

You obviously do not know what I was implying, we had no choice on what Basketball tournament we were invited to, where we had a choice on the bowl games. Our fans can actually come to this NIT game where most could not afford to go to Hawaii. The decision, next to hiring Ellis Johnson, was the worst in USM athletic history.

what I was ramping up to is that I would prefer the more nationally prominent and prestigious option in all cases and in all sports, irrespective of whether individual fans could travel to the game or not; thus, the NIT bid leaves me nearly as unsatisfied as hawaii did.

Might could happen if you can beat FSU on the road. We are much better now than when you first played us, and it looks like you guys peeked too early in the year.

I think La Tech loses at FSU unless the Seminoles aren't motivated to play. Tech has been terrible in their past few road games.

The big problem with our last 3 games is we were on the road for 2 1/2 weeks including the tournament and played our 2 hardest in conference opponents back to back. Pretty tough challenge in my opinion. But there was no way we should've lost to UTSA. We blew the tournament.

Tech has been terrible in their past few road games.

Or maybe...La Tech (#5 seed in NIT)played a better overall game than FSU (#4 seed in NIT)...especially in the 2nd half...when La Tech cameback from being 9 down on FSU's home court last night.

If not for some buzzer beating last second shots this year...odds are FSU doesn't even get invited to the NIT this year...as this FSU team had already lost to Mercer, South Alabama, Va Tech (who went 4-15 in ACC games this year...a year when the ACC talent level was down, down, DOWN at most schools) and even to AUBURN (one of the worst teams in the nation this year).

So FSU losing last night to a better team like La Tech shouldn't shock anyone...but its funny to read "excuses" (i.e. FSU will win unless they are not motivated to do so) even BEFORE a game is played.
