I'm glad to hear that you are happy living vicariously through UConns accomplishments. Success by association 04-cheers

They need to. UH and ECU need UConn to do well in order for them to survive.

^ This is actually true. This has been a hellofa year for the AAC; and the success has been spread out. Teams like UCF and UH were out front for the conference in football (just like the ACC lived off FSU), and UCONN, SMU, Cincinnati, UL, and Memphis, finished the season ranked in the Top 25 in basketball. How many did the ACC have?
Of the new teams, ECU will be riding their Heisman Trophy candidate Shane Carden this year, And, just like ACC fans will be following Famous Jamais, they'll have our support too.

I realize that NBE fans may not be able to understand that, but you'll have your basketball practice reports to tide you over.

If you hasn't noticed, the NBE people were talking some pretty good smack about the AAC and UCONN last year... I just came back to write a few receipts. UCONN did very well this year (as you know); and UCF did similarly spectacular in the BCS Fiesta Bowl. We all cheer for each other; like most good conferences do.
And, as you said, there is some vicarious satisfaction in that. I'm sure you felt it when Doug McDermott played his last game. 07-coffee3

I will admit... I enjoyed that one too. 04-cheers

Your trolling has gotten out of hand. I'm sure you're only referring to a a couple of posters form the BE-and I'm sure i can figure out who they are, but the truth is, both sides have gone their separate ways. Contracts have been giving out and one complete season is practically under wraps. Oh Yea Doug McDermott was name national POY. Great way to represent the Big East as well as UConn winning the title-Great way to represent the AAC. Too bad UConn is trying to work every angle to get out of the AAC. Enjoy their company while you still can.

That 12 logo Big East post is cool but Creighton has a new logo now.

Don't be mad that the Big East schools wanted nothing to do with Memphis. Have fun in the AAC, CAA or whatever you call yourselves.

Wow, Louisville's been in so many conferences even Cardinal Nation can't keep track.

Not any more than you're proud of your ACC brethren. 07-coffee3

Oh wait...

Unlike you, MORON. The UofL does not need to ride the jock of teams, who accomplish what YOUR teams are unable to do. Without Uconn, UC, and USF, the (y)acc is simply cusa 3.0. The thought of remaining in that league with you cusa leftovers is nauseating. Oh, that's right, we got a promotion to the BIG TIME. See ya, midmajor!

Wow redbirdTD are you this big of a loser in real life? You are truly a douchie poster. If the g5's are beneath you and you are so glad to be gone why are you looking back? So close your glory hole and go back to the acc"heaven". Lol

I, as most UofL fans, LOVED being in the BE. I still respect those schools, unlike all the cusa wannabes, who came into the acc telling us all how great they were. When you found out that UofL was leaving for the ACC, all you (ecwho, whouston, mempi$$, and ucf fans) did, was degrade us at every turn. Well Jethro, thankfully we're out of here. Enjoy your new friends. LOL!
