Confessing to having watched the B10 championship game and proud that a couple local kids will be playing for those teams in the future.
Can someone fill in the details for me?

Hayes: Wisc.
Donnel: Mich.
Gardner: Findlay
Smith: ?
Owens: Bethune Cookman
Towbridge: Football somewhere right?
Brown: ?
Lauf:
I know there are others...

Marc Loving was named Mr. Basketball. Following other Toledoans William Bufford and Jim Jackson.

His were the first two awarded. O$U has more than any other. Last year's went to college in Wheeling but there were a couple went to or ended up at MAC schools. There was even one guy won it, didn't even go to college.

Yep. Either '88 & '89, or '89 & '90.

Lebron James won Mr. Basketball 3 times! I still firmly believe had he gone to college, he would have chosen Toledo

No surprise here, Rogers won tonight in the Final Four and will play Mentor tomorrow night at 8:30.

Great job by a team that has taken down the favored and advantaged.
One more win, for the little guy, for the brass ring.
Little guy on the right...

Where did I see a blurb about an all-star game being held at BG High next week? Anyone have details?

Okay, Brecksville would probably be considered "advantaged," but I don't think the same would be said for Walnut Hills. I think they are part of Cinci's public school system. Next is Mentor. They're not hurting for money either.
Interesting sidebar. Rogers is one of the smallest schools in the division. Mentor's boys enrollment is about 1000. Rogers under 400.
