There seems to be conflicting information on this... it may not be a tear?

All that I've been hearing the last few days is that it's definitely a tear, but it may not need syrgery. He hasn't seen Colosimo yet because of all the swelling, they'll know the exact extent then, but everyone I've talked to about it seems to think he's going to be shut down.

Good new guys...I was just informed that Parker sustained a major strain and a possible dislocation but no tear in his knee. He should be good to go for the fall, but they are holding him out of spring and he's on a strenuous rehab stint to make sure everything is strengthened up by August.

Seems to fit with what Bearcat Journal (formerly Bearcat Lair) has been reporting from day 1.
