our page needs to be updated. it lists Auburn as one of our two basketball rivals. its had to consider a team we have played less than twenty times and have not played in over a decade a rival. with the memphis game going the way of the dodo as well do we even have a rivalry with anyone anymore in basketball?

Then update it.

I sure wish they did play on a yearly basis.

It isn't & hasn't been UAB's call on this.

The barners got tired of getting beat.

The first game played, if it is renewed, should be at Bartow.

As far as I can tell the closest thing to a basketball rivalry after Memphis leaves will be southern miss. If UAB somehow ends up in the east we will have no active basketball rivalry

We'll be clashing with Charlotte fans pretty soon. They are a big talking bunch. I'm not old enough to remember being in a conference with them before.

Charlotte and MTSU we will hate.

If WKU gets the next nod then we will have four legit rivals for the first time in a long time.

Let the rivals develop, instead of designating them. Because of the numerous overtime games in basketball, a small rivalry has developed with UTEP. No one would have designated them a rivalry game otherwise. It will happen naturally.

I personally consider UTEP a big rivalry. My favorite game of all time was the triple overtime win at bartow. I was actually at a meeting and couldn't make it until the first overtime-- and boy, was I still in for a show.

I can imagine on UTEP's end there's a good hunger to beat us as well.

the UTEP game at Bartow is a *must make* game for me.

It does need to be updated to show that the first back-to-back losing seasons just happened.
