Just noticed that Boothe got ZERO votes for Frosh of the Year. Four guys got votes. I understand Paul winning. He deserved it. But Boothe was number two or three IMO, Chris Fowler of CMU being the sole other possibility as number two. Boothe was among the MAC leaders in rebounds and blocked shots and shot a high percentage while scoring near double figures. The guys from Miami and Buffalo barely graze the surface of the MAC stats categories. I am very happy we have Boothe. He and Paul will ultimately be the class of the class.

I have listened to several MAC broadcast teams and they all had praise for Boothe. Perhaps this will be added fire for Nathan's off season preparation. I'm looking forward to next year and the Rockets hanging more banners.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't I hear that Boothe had more blocked shots in a season than any Freshman ever at UT and came in at #5 all time regardless of age?
