I just hope to see some postive news next year on the hardcourt......like maybe 10 or 12 wins. It's been a LONG dry spell. It's been downright embarrasing. Just wondering, when was our last winning season?

Looks like 05-06 when we went 17-11.

Won't happen. At least not until every player on our current squad is gone.

In all reality, have we forgoten that Xavier Silas who was near NBA calibier couldn't turn NIU around by himself, Monty needs ballers and lots of them. Good luck to Highsmith but he's only a raw freshman don't Billy Lowe him.

Could someone explain to me how Mader was an 85, Bowie an 83, Davis an 82, Springs an 80...and Highsmith is a 68 on ESPN's recruiting rankings? Is there any explanation besides ESPN does a real **** job on grading recruits?

I would not be surprised if Nader ended up at Depaul, if he leaves. They were recruiting him out of highschool. He doesnt seem like a guy who could handle sitting out a whole year though, especially after sitting out 10 games this year. I would be surprised, but not shocked if he's staying here.

I hope he's booted off the team. We have enough problems without him. Plus, we could use that scholarship to bring in someone who will hopefully be a team player.
