Unfortunately I was unable to attend this morning. Curious if any of you folks were there. I read that it was sold out...must have been a good atmosphere. Everyone still feeling good from the weekend and looking forward to Sunday to hear our seed and matchup.

I made it today. The atmosphere was great. Byrd had his usual dry sense of humor that made it entertaining. He spoke a lot about the guys that don't get the spotlight that help the team to be better (including the guys that practice but are not playing this year).

Someone asked the question about Spencer's slide not being called traveling. He explained the rule that has changed fairly recently. The explanation is a little long for this forum, but in a nutshell, a player that dives for a ball and his momentum causes him to slide is not considered traveling. It turns out that the refs had that call correct.

He invited everyone to the viewing party Sunday, but he said to come early. The students are not on spring break so they should be out in full force.
