And what's funny, when I bought my tickets when I got up there, the lady said section 108 (right behind the UT bench) was sold out, so we took sec. 109 (the corner). The thing is, sec. 108 was not even half full, so I moved over there right after the anthem. I also had an usher ask to see my ticket when I entered the lower bowl. I wanted to ask the guy if he was serious.

Very suspicious. Was EMU trying to deliberately spread out the UT fan base? That's my conspiracy theory....
That was a fun game to watch...all I can say is our dance team needs to go watch their dance team...and their promotions folks need to study our promotions folks...

We also were given that same story but as soon as they finished the national anthem, we also moved over to 108 as well (as did about half of 109). At least the EMU staff had the good graces not to try to kick us out of 108. I think EMU has finally wised up to the fact that they can make a bit of money on the Toledo folks---I didn't see any of the "buy 10 tickets and get them for $3 apiece" like they often have and selling section 109 as "reserved seating" rather than general admission in a largely empty arena is somewhere between laughable and criminal.

Actually, I think they did have a group ticket deal of 10+ tickets for $5 a piece.
