Dang! It's gonna have to wait until JUNE?

Hate that. Interested in where they are going with the show, and tired of waiting.

What's the show about? I'd look it up, but a viewer opinion is more telling than a review or synopsis.

Its an alien occupation of earth survivalist show. The first season takes place a few months after the invasion IIRC. The show follows the 42nd Mass a group of former military and civilians on the run trying to stay alive and regroup and hopefully eventually mount an offensive.

The survival mentality is not all that different than the Walking Dead, with obvious differences of battling an intelligent enemy rather than mindless flesh eaters.

If you can get past the slightly subpar CG, especially in season 1, it's a pretty awesome show. Think the first season is available to stream on Amazon.

haha, slightly subpar? That's being generous. To me, it's a B movie at best, but really good storyline and not bad acting.

I said slightly subpar because I think only the mechs are notably bad. None of it's great by any means, but the mechs are the one real eyesore in my opinion.

RE: Falling Skies
Have followed The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and look forward to Falling Skies returning. Have been a little disappointed in Falling Skies at times, mainly with the way the storyline is dragged out then all of a sudden pushed. Seems as if the writers are having a hard time pacing the program.
Have been watching Continuum on the SyFy network also. It's another sci fi show that may be worth watching, but could be better with it's writing.

Falling Skies, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Vikings.

If you aren't watching Vikings on History Channel, you are missing out.

Cool, I've finally found people other than myself that loves this show. This show filled the void that Stargate Universe left in my opinion.

Franklin & Bash is one that I was way into and fell a little behind towards the end of the last season and never caught up. I need to do that, as well as catch up on like two seasons of USA's Royal Pains.

Welcome to the conversation. We have this thread going during every episode each season. Make sure to join us, it's a good time. Also, we sometimes use our usual gameday chat room to talk during the show.
