WBB RPI decline
It seems like every team we played has been losing. That Charlotte win was important. Figures they would lose to Temple in their tourney quarterfinals. Who is left that Toledo played OOC?
Dayton vs. St. Joseph's today. A Dayton win here would be much needed for Toledo's SOS.

It takes a lot more than one team to improve an SOS of 216.

Winning the MAC Tournament is imperative. This team cannot rely on the selection committee giving them an at-large bid.

Agreed. An at-large bid would seem to be a long shot at this point. A lot of things would have to go right to make it possible, meaning other conferences not getting extra bids due to upsets in conference tournaments.

The bottom lines is they will likely have to win the MAC Tournament otherwise it will likely be the WNIT again. It will most likely come down to a semi-final game game against CMU, but tournaments can be a funny thing (or not so funny).

RE: WBB RPI decline
The basic problem is that Toledo has not one big time win. Not one win against a ranked team. The Dayton game was close but a loss is a loss. If we want the Lady Rockets to receive national recognition for their success then we have to schedule at least 2-3 games against top level competition each year. And I don't include top level mid majors (e.g. Green Bay) in that group because there is also some skepticism among voters about teams like Green Bay and Delaware. You could argue that even Dayton has a soft schedule. Their strength of schedule via Sagarin ranking is 103 while Deleware is 104 and Toledo is 190.

Dayton lost too, which gives st Joseph a spot they wouldn't have had. Any teams left that Toledo played...? Colorado state.
Toledo beat their top 100 teams Charlotte, CMU, Marquette, and BG on the road and by 10 or more points each. If Toledo had a tougher schedule they would win a lot of those games in my opinion. I think Toledo could win the big10. Toledo could be in the AP top 25, and be left out.
Quinnipiac and chatenooga have similar records but are behind Toledo at this point still,

Toledo wouldn't come close to winning the Big 10. We don't have the bigs to compete for the championship in a major conference. Yolanda Richardson is a very good MAC player, but she is the only inside player on this roster that would be a regular part of a Big 10 rotation. Big 10 teams would focus on Toledo's lack of an inside game and just bear down on Naama and Andola. We would be around .500 in the Big 10 this season.
That said, one of the nice things about the NCAA Tournament is that every game is single elimination. The Toledo backcourt is really good and hopefully they (Naama, Andola, and Inma) will be better than potential coaches anticipated.

Lady Rockets will win the MAC tournament in a convincing fashion.
Make sure that Naama is safe. If she is in both games and out of foul trouble Toledo wins.
Hopefully a ranking of 7 in the Big dance and a trip to the sweet 16.

Wouldn't come close? The only ranked Big10 teams are PSU, and MSU. Now Purdue will be ranked, and MSU will not be. So yes, I think we could make it to the finals. Toledo has done very well vs. Big10 teams in the past. Northwestern, Purdue, and Indiana weren't great when we beat them. But they weren't slouches either. Quick guard play can slow down the play of good bigs if you play it right.
