Yup the ACC will just be all like aww poor UCONN and Cincy let us save them! We will go to 16 that way We in sure that the Big Ten goes to 16 and takes two of our better teams. But hey we helped Connecticut and Cincinnati!

UH and SMU leaving for the MWC would be a given.

You would lose lots of money paying the exit fee from the Big East plus Entrance fee to MWC their TV contract is only worth 18 million and Boise State gets a larger share of that 18 million than anyone else that would leave y'all making less than a million dollars from the TV contract. Heck with going to 14 teams you would make less money from the TV contract then you did in CUSA Most likely

Would it? How many Sunbelt and FCS first/second year move-up schools would the nBE have vs CUSA? Go ahead, count them up. I'll wait while you use your fingers to add up the final tally. I laugh because CUSA posters have little trouble slamming nBE for being nothing but a glorified CUSA--but they scream bloody murder when it's pointed out that they have become the new glorified Sunbelt. Absolutely. Pity is the LAST thing these conferences look at. If all of our football programs go belly-up because of this, those conferences will pop the corks off their champagne bottles.

If any of our schools are good strategic/financial adds for any league, then it gets picked up. But those are the only factors.

I wouldn't really care. Whether it be $1.8 million or $1.5 million or $1 million on the dot, it is peanuts compared to what the two schools within 150 miles of us are making.

The priority once UConn and Cincy bolt becomes putting ourselves in a situation where (on any given year) we have the best opportunity to land the GO5 bid. At that point, it's the MWC, and it's not even close.
