Enlighten me. Money definitely isn't the issue. Around $1 million budget is sufficient in the ASun. It's my understanding there have been multiple years where there has been money left over because Kemp chooses not to spend it. The third assistant makes more than any non basketball assistant in the dept, so attracting quality assistants shouldn't be hard. Barbie has fawned over Kemp. Maybe that has soured with the losing, but after her conference wins, there were banquets held for both Kemp and Bartow where donors were asked to donate money to give to those two on top of their contractual bonuses to avoid losing them to other programs. What am I missing?

How many people on that campus can you name that get along with Barbie? I've never heard anyone OTHER than Dave say positive things about her. She's the single most incompetent employee in the athletic department, she's not over her head, she's just stupid.
I've never seen Barbie fawn over anybody, she was stupid enough to fire a female alumni softball coach, replacing her with a white male meanwhile the baseball coach kept his job and continued to produce at a level as bad as softball was.

I don't know about the rest of campus and I never said Barbie was a good administrator. It's well known that she loves Karen Kemp though.

As far as softball I'm guessing you don't know much about that. You realize her players hated her right? She got fired mostly because of her players total disdain for her more than her awful record. She was also controversial for making it pretty clear that she did not want any lesbian players. That caused even more problems on the team. She also loved two a day practices in the middle of the season.
