Go independent
Play better teams
show how great you are or fall on your face
Get invited to the BigX Conf or Crawfish back to the Southland.

If it offends you, then don't read his post! I think most Cajun fans have complained about the conference without make negative comments about the current Sun Belt programs. The complaints center around what the conference will look like this fall and the perception attached to it.

Hankering for the stratospheric perception boost from being associated with FIU, FAU, UNT, ODU, and Charlotte?

You make your own perceptions friend. No matter where you go, there you are.
Everyone is quick to discount those schools, yet Charlotte is the only unproven commodity.

Yes, stAte fans and Cajun fans would rather be associated with USM, Rice, La Tech, UNT, UAB, MTSU, and Marshall than the current Sun Belt line up. Any fan of the remaining Belt members is fooling themselves if they don't want that for their school.
I agree with you--USA would rather be there also, but until that great call in the sky comes, why run down your own conference; you may be in it a long time. You should hold your conference negativity for your own board.

Your statement is just blantant stupidty! Since when has it been a rule that we all need to share the same opinions and not say anything negative about the conference or even a fellow member? This thread was about why Cajun fans are not posting here right now. No one sent you an invitation to the thread to tell Cajun fans to post on their own board. You clearly don't want to have discussions with anyone that doesn't agree with your views. Why don't you create your own board of koolaid drinkers? What complete nonsense.

I guess I was a little overboard with the word negativity but to lower yourselfs to La Fart's level with the name calling towards our league is not called for.

The truth is that we kicked Tulane and Tech this year in football recruiting---look at any poll----but if they hadn't used the conference deal against us we would have gotten even more of the kids they wanted---No doubt S Miss also used the conference affiliation against us---This is what I really think is going on---they have one thing that they can use against the Cajuns in recruiting and that is the conference---All is fair in recruiting but if we had the same playing field (conference) Louisiana would really be on a tear---the indoor practice facility is an eye-opener along with the new plans coming out next week to get the stadium to 45K by next year---The rest of the plan is stunning and will also help the recruiting process---WE can all BS around but I think everybody knows what is happening!!!

No doubt. And that's why I can't imagine why they would want to change that.

You still beat them. You are still building. No reason to think the sky is falling.

UNT thought they would out recruit Texas State by using CUSA. Our coaches have schooled them on recruiting even with UNT coaches talking down about the Sun Belt and how great CUSA will be.

Boise did fine in the WAC. I really don't think making the CUSA is a better conference argument to a recruit gets you very far. Most recruits don't know much about any of these schools. However, when they visit the school and the stadium is packed and the atmosphere is great, that is what will win the recruiting battles. Not to mention, SB has a winning record over CUSA lately.

Boise is an anomaly, they are the only show in the state in one of the most desirable location in the region. They get to deal with the PAQ 12 which is the most user friendly of all BCS leagues.

It is much harder to be a BCS buster in the southeast because we have to battle the SEC as our money games. I just do not see a Sun Belt team running the table and going undefeated.

Your statement telling him to post negative comments about the Sun Belt on his own board was uncalled for, especially in light of the fact this thread was directed towards Cajun fans. Take a look in the mirror; it was what you said and how you said it.
