Anyway, the Metro Conference was a great conference until egos broke it up and teams diminished as a result. After losing a lot of clout, all they could do is put the conference back together and add others to create CUSA...which was a pretty decent bball conference. However, the schools in the original Metro had lost so much respect after the breakup, it took several years for some of them to regain it.

So, I think most people old enough to remember the Metro, remember it when it was great and not that 3 year dying horse. Plus, there are sooooo many incoming members claiming that "their history" was sold. Well, here is a chance to have a good history and do it legitimately in everyone's eyes.
