Not sure how many games we will win this year, but at least this team now will be well conditioned and prepared to play again. The new S&C coach is working this team hard. I feel good that they will be ready to play and well coached this year, unlike last year's disaster.

Looks good...I predict we will be above .500 next year, and get better and better thereafter...

Really tough schedule and only 5 home games, but not out of the question

I believe 7 wins is a reality......8 is possible with a few lucky bounces.......12 is possible with the sacrificing of several mayan princesses, rum for jobu & nebraska, boisie & a few other getting an outbreak of ebola. Remember......anything is possible!

if we're lucky, though, it won't be necessary. I'm hoping this season I won't have to get shithammered at halftime just to be able to watch the second half.

I'm hoping if I'm not at the game and I'm hammered by halftime it's because we're back to playing USM football and I'm having a damn good time.

. . . which was absolutely not the case this past season. I got to the point that I was just trying to kill the brain cells that had the game memories stored away. I had this exact thought: "phuck, kill 'em all if I have to, as long as I don't remember that two point conversion attempt".

unfortunately, it's sort of a crap shoot. I remembered the game, but forgot where I lived. I still think it was worth it.

I watched a lot on CBSSports.. After the first few showings and bow season started.. I could DVR the game.. Hunt.. Come in, pour a glass of whisky and curse my TV til my speech was slurred.

Hope you guys are able to turn your football team around very quickly. I am sure you will. On a side note, I took my son to see the USM-ECU game two years ago when we hosted your team. We sat very close behind the USM bench. The USM team that year was one of the biggest and most athletic I have ever seen in person and I have been to many, many College football games. I think USM could have beaten 99 percent of all college teams that year.

Fedora had a good team that year..

My fiancee pitied any poor deer that would come across my stand every week.. Apparently prayer works because I didn't see a one.

After Ellis Johnson nearly destroyed the program in just one season (Confuscius was right!), I'm hoping that the new guy can come in and reverse the misfortune that befell you all last year...Until you cross paths with UAB, of course. A strong Southern Miss football team is good for Conference USA as a whole.

Actually, I am not sure how good a coach fedora was, but I sure know how great a coach ELLLLLLLLLLoss was NOT after last year. He will go down as the worst college football head coach of all time....
