Our depth really helped again. Don't know that we'll go nine deep in the MACC but it certainly wore BSU down. Anybody know why they are so depleted?

Congratulations Lady Rockets!
Brilliant and convincing win.
Should increase in the polls.
Win the MAC tournament and hopefully be seeded 6 or 7nth.

According to my reasoning Ball State is still the #2 seed

UT #1 at 15-1

Ball State, CMU and Akron all tied as 12-4----so as I understand it, the tie breaker is their standing based on all the games among them which gives:

#2 Ball State 2-1 (beat CMU twice, lost to Akron)
#3 Akron 1-1 (beat Ball State, lost to CMU
#4 CMU 1-2 (beat Akron, lost twice to Ball State)

If this is not right, tell where I screwed up. Thanks.

You're right. Here's the bracket: http://www.mac-sports.com/Portals/20/201...cket_1.pdf

I totally agree that our deep bench kept UT fresh all game, but I am not convinced that BSU was really all that worn down. They have been playing all year with a very short bench and those 7 players must be in absolutely super shape w/r to heart-lung function by now although I am surprised that their legs were not a bit more rubberery than they were.

UT had a 22 point lead at half and won by 24 points so BSU played UT about even the second half (although they did make up 7 points against us in the last two minutes with UT's deep bench in the game). Besides with all those foul shots they were given (and I do mean "given") in the second half, they had plenty of opportunity for rest.

Refs were awful but then Inma probably should have fouled out in the first half and we were allowed to just run with the ball a lot too. The refs in the last three games I've seen have called nearly triple the fouls in the second half, and not just late fouls. Both teams lsst night were in double bonus with ten left.

I hope the MAC finds some real refs for the tournament.

A very impressive win.
Any chance someone can knock of CMU?

There was a woman in sweats under the basket rebounding for their shootaround yesterday- I assumed she was number eight and injured. That leaves about 6 unaccounted for. Someone told me they all quit because they didn't like the coach. No idea if that's true but he has done awfully well with what he has. The Swedish girl is going to be awfully good and they only have one senior, number 10, who looked to be a role player at best. They'll be tough next year.
