What a horrible loss. That should do them in, unless they win the SEC tourney.

Ole Miss has been on a slide in the second half of the season. Not the same team they were when they were ranked earlier.
Southwind and Ridgeway could beat State.

What were you saying about Miss St again? They just BEAT Ole Miss. Snapping a 13 game losing streak. I told you, Ole Miss isn't the same team they were back in January.

They play very well at home. I give them credit for that. But, outside the state of Arkansas, they are dreadful. Anderson is 2-20 in games played outside the state of Arkansas in his two years as head Hog. The two wins both came @ lowly Auburn. Until he starts winning outside Arkansas, no one can take his teams seriously.

Speaking of road games one analyst today (Greg Anthony?) said Duke had not won a road game against a top 50 team all year. Seems odd when you think about it.

He also said he rated teams by their road victories and not home wins.

I don't care what team they are. They are SUPPOSED to mop the floor with State. That loss just cost them the NCAA tourney unless they run the table in the tourney.

Like I said, Southwind and Ridgeway would give State a better game than that. Even with illegal 23 year olds. LOL

And I agree. But my point was that Ole Miss is very beatable by anyone, including MSU who had lost their previous 13 games, as was the case today.

Those Marshall Henderson 3's were cute in January. 03-lmfao Now, not so much. As for Kentucky, Lunardi now has them in the "last four out" group.

Moo St officially a bubble team now. Going to love watch Channel Three sports and see them have to report that score. LOL

The last time Ole Miss went dancing was 2002. Memphis is about to make our 9th trip since the last Rebel appearance (which happens to be 3 more than Ole Miss has in its history)............and some of my Rebel friends tried to tell me they had passed us as a hoops program. 03-lmfao

RE: watching Ky and Ark.
Mispsiisi, Kentucky and utk did themselves no favors yesterday.

KY really needs to beat Florida when they play them at home- and even with that needs to avoid a first game SEC tourney loss. Lose to Florida and I would imagine they need to reach the finals to feel secure. They have managed to avoid and killer losses but they have been completely blown out in several games- not just by the final score but the games themselves.

MS has to be out- they have lost twice to sub 200 teams...and have lost 6 of 10. They also likely need a finals run in the SEC tourney- and even that may not be enough.

utk is also in a bad position being swept by sub 100 Georgia...and having a lot of losses. A finals run also is a must for them...and that also may not be enough.

2-4 SEC teams will likely make the tourney, but the only absolute even if they lose every game left lock is Florida- Missouri close behind. mispisisi, Arkansas, utk, KY and Alabama having some at large options.
