MUTS better win the tournament. It would be a choke job for the ages if they don't. I didn't have anything bad to say about the way their team acted, until the game was over. Shake hands fellas. Good or bad tradition, do it and then celebrate.
We will see you in CUSA soon I hope.
Good luck in Hot Springs ( with Kermit you might need it).

I'm going to say this nicely as I know how....... Go jump over a f-ing ledge. WKU went through the most injured prone season in history and played a great game tonight against a MT that also played a great game.

Congrats MT on the win. This series is not over and we all know that. Now the we have a real coach things will return for WKU.

Stop making excuses. The team has played terribly. No chemistry. Terrible defense. Inability to make a shot. The only reason this game was close was because MTSU played almost as badly as we did.

Stop being a homer and looking at the team through rose-colored glasses. MYself an many fans have come to expect better than a sub-.500 record in conference play.

I thought Western's defense was really, really good tonight. Hard fought game tonight, for sure.

4 technicals now in the ASU/UALR game and 26 total fouls. ASU has 3 guys with 3 first half fouls. Brady and Shields now engaged in a war of words.

Officials trying to restore order...

Great game Western. You guys are much improved from earlier in the season and Diddle is such a tough environment to play in. Not sure how many players you guys loose this year, but you'll be a force next year.

Also, didn't see what happened at the end of the game, but the poster above said something about MT players not shaking hands. Word on the street is that the Western coach didn't shake Kermit's hand, either. Not sure if it's true, but, if so, that's bad sportsmanship on both sides.

ASU up 35-32 on UALR at half. Problem is, about half our team is in foul trouble. Thanks refs!

Not to mention our best player was poked in the eye and is out of the game.

I'm not being a Homer! Did you not watch the same game the rest of us watched? MT went 18-19 from the free throw line and 4-9 from 3 I think. Thats getting it done! If your going to post when mad......just stop it and stop embarrassing yourself and the WKU fan base. MT is a good team this year as much as it pain me to say it, but that win sent WKU to the other side of the tourney bracket and it gives WKU a chance to get even

It was a pretty good one. The officials have lost control of the game. They are frantically calling fouls on everything that moves to try and catch up, but thats only making things worse.

Think I may turn it on...

Had hoped it'd be on ESPN3. Oh well.

Me too i had plans to make the trip but a check that should have been in 2 weeks ago from a client wasn't cleared by corporate until this week which means i won't get it till next. i was rather upset.

BTW as an aside the only game i can find with more Technical fouls is 16 in which the Ref misunderstood the rules and called techs on both teams because they left the bench pulling team mates apart. the ref admitted his mistake after the game.

also Brady just got a Tech...that makes 7 4 of which are against stAte....

We are over 50 fouls and are now fast approaching the Division 1 record for fouls in a game.

USA overcomes a horrendous start to beat Troy 53-49. Don Maestri is still stuck on 499 wins.

The Refs and UALR hold on to defeat ASU. UALR students rush the floor after the game. I guess 4th place is something to be celebrated in Little Rock these days.

Or maybe they were so excited that Arkansas beat Kentucky earlier today, and wanted to celebrate it.
