ACC 2016?
ACC 2016?
Wake Forest
Syracuse
Pitt
Louisville
Boston College
UConn
Cincy
Temple
Memphis
Notre Dame (olympic sports)

That's an amazing basketball conference. Football would be solid, though underrated at first. I wonder if the Florida schools, UCF and USF, get pulled into this. Memphis is obviously the last school in, and the biggest stretch. Navy might hold more appeal for some, but those olympic sports always drag them down. This is Wake Forest's nightmare scenario, also obviously. The old Big East will have taken over the ACC. Not THAT far-fetched.

If the ACC lost both of it's FL schools im sure USf and UCF would be getting some calls.

RE: ACC 2016?
Throw in USF and UCF for a conference championship game and I am very happy with that conference.

Oooooh, look who thinks they're ahead of Miami, Ga Tech, FSU, Clemson and Boise State to the Big 12.

RE: ACC 2016?
If all the present ACC teams are planning to leave THE CONFERENCE why are they fighting so hard against Maryland and for the $50 million dollar exit fee? They would be cutting their own nose off to spite their face. Because the higher the exit fee the more the future schools that are suppose to be planning to leave would have to pay when they left.

Whatever the ACC is in 2016 I can assure you Memphis won't be a part of it.

You could add UConn and Temple to that list too!

RE: ACC 2016?
Virginia to B1G. Missouri, the surprise, to B1G. Virginia Tech to SEC. ACC invites UConn and Cincy.
B1G then invites Duke and UNC. Big12 invites FSU, Clemson, Miami, and Ga Tech. ACC invites Temple and Memphis. SEC invites WVU and NCSU. Big12 invites Boise State.

Big12 can only pull from a weakened ACC. Virginia is holding the floodgates shut presently.

Big12 can jump the PAC12 in stature with this move.

I also have a feeling it's going to look like this...

Boston College
Clemson
Duke
Florida State
Georgia Tech
Louisville
Miami
North Carolina
NC State
Notre Dame
Pitt
Syracuse
Virginia
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest

Yup...also maybe just maybe the UConn Lawsuit might have been the worst decision ever.

A couple of things....rework the Football Divisions so that FSU/Clemson & Georgia Tech are in the same Division and finish up on the rework of the ESPN Deal and move the ACC Network forward.

RE: ACC 2016?
I love that the ACC fans just think it's absurd that they will be raided, especially just MONTHS after they have already been raided.

I'm not saying anything is definite but you guys are the new big east with a target on your back and multiple leagues with more money and power drooling over your teams. if you don't see that then you are all in for a serious blow to the ego.

Losing one member in 42 years = raided? The Big 12 lost 4 members in 13 months, what would you call that?

You have the B10 going to 18 teams. If the b10 goes to 18, so will the SEC/PAC12. Texas/Oklahoma pick a conference, and the b12 blows up. Best teams of the of B12/ACC/BE/MWC combine together

People don't seem to realize this but nobody in the ACC wants to join the Big 12.

RE: ACC 2016?
I take it as a compliment that everyone wants the ACC teams but no other conferences want the Big 12 teams other than Texas or Oklahoma.

Frankly, it all depends on UNC, if they want to stay like Texas did and be in control then the conference will be fine because under no circumstance will a conference with UNC not be part of the top level.

It called a "Pillage".

Look, ACC "fans" know anything possible but we just feel IT IS NOT A FOREGONE CONCLUSION that any current school will move.

As I always say...you have 5 Current Contract League-(B1G, SEC & Pac 12)...the ACC & Big XII are look'n up @ them but they are still eat'n very well @ the "Big Boy Table" 07-coffee3
